Hi gents,

I just submitted my application yesterday and already paid the fee. But my dumbass just found out that I applied for the wrong class, Permit Holder Class instead of PNP. Has everyone got into the same situation? Thanks a lot.

Can anyone give me a blur idea if I get will any update this month or no. Thanks
This is impossible to answer.

You can try to look at this: ONLINE PORTAL NON-EE PNP - Planilhas Google and see if someone has the same scenario.

I saw something similar to this in a forum, it'll eventually be rejected because you've applied under the wrong class. You'll need to apply again.

Check post #4,186 for reference. Update to withdraw your app via webform, and apply again under the right category.

Hello all,
I applied in October 2022.
My medical passed in May 2023, biometrics were completed in January, and my background check and eligibility started processing On May 31, 2023.
Do you know how long it takes to be approved and what's the next step?

Hi man, just one more question. Once I have started my new application, do I need to get a refund because they haven't processed my application yet, or I could use the same receipt for my new application?

Did you pay fee for PHC or NON-EE? If PHC, you need to pay fee for NON-EE. You will get refund for PHC. If you have paid for NON-EE, then its little tricky, coz technically you could use NON-EE receipt with LoE (letter of explanation) however to be on the safer side, I'd simply pay for a new reciept (non-ee) for a clean payment binding to the non-ee application. And you would anyways get refund for previous receipt upon withdrawal request. Would also suggest you call IRCC help desk and know whats their advice on the same.

I assume you meant Oct 2022 (not oct 2023)
How long? 19 months as per IRCC but anywere between 11 ~ 16 months on average. What province?
Next Step? Just wait for spooky ghost updates to take place for application movement.

Question for those waiting for their PR cards and have linked their application to their gckey, do you still see your biometrics details in your application? After I linked mine yesterday, all my applications, including the newly linked PR card application doesn't show my biometrics details anymore...
