I applied in December 2020 and no updates since Temporary AOR. Based on others from October and November getting AOR recently I’m hoping to hear something soon!

where r u applying from? people i know applied in march 2021 has received AOR yesterday and ADR the same time.
our processing office is HongKong,
But AORs are issued at Sydney, regardless of where you are.

Ah that’s good it’s moving along but not a good sign they’ve skipped past us December 2020 applicants. The latest I’d heard of was people from November, 2020 getting AOR in March/April so I thought the recent strike might have delayed things for December applicants. I applied from within Canada, I moved here in 2019 on a Working Holiday Visa and now I’m on a Student Visa. My processing office however would be New Zealand. I guess if I don’t hear by the end of the month I’ll send a webform since there’s others who are also still waiting who applied in late 2020.

Crazy timing since I just posted an update yesterday but I wanted to let you guys know I just received my AOR & permanent UCI + biometrics request.

I just linked my application to my online account and it says 99% complete with estimated completion date of May 24th, 2023.

My application was sent in December 2020, so if you also applied in December you’re up next

Help needed.. How to link a paper based application Feb'2020 - online login..... Kindly let me know what is the process..

I just did this yesterday, you just log in to your online account and if you scroll down a bit there’s the option to link a paper application to your account, just click on that and it walks you through the process. There’s a few options to verify your application such as your passport, UCI and application number. Its super easy and took me maybe 1-2 minutes and it was instantly linked.

It will then give you a completeness timeline and estimated completion date.

I was wondering this as well, and also what the timeline was like after biometrics for those who applied earlier in 2020. Now that I finally have AOR I’m getting antsy

Any status updates from anyone who applied earlier in 2020? Or does anyone want to update us on their timeline so far?

This is my timeline so far -
12/24/20 - Application received
01/15/21 - Temporary AOR
05/12/23 - Permanent AOR
05/12/23 - Biometrics Requested
05/16/23 - Biometrics Received

Current progress says reviewing eligibility and background check in progress (My FBI check was submitted in 2020 so I’m not sure whether they will still accept it).

Ughhh it’s definitely discouraging how slow things are still moving. Sounds like some people who applied before June 2020 have reached the next steps after AOR/biometrics but its definitely been quiet in here lately
