PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

I know strike recently, everything get delayed. I barely post, this time Just to cheer up ur guys, always keep ur hope

Subject: change name of my 8yrs boy(pr renewal)
Paper based, canada post delivered on 9the Feb.2023
location:Markham

sent numours of email to ircc asking why I didn't receive anything after 62days, and called twice still no useful answer. since ircc started strike, I decided to let the time handle everything

30mins ago received email saying confirmed received my boys mail(such a surprise,thought they still on strike and nobody processing application).

tried check status, still nothing found

tried to link gckey, successful

I don't have any other info beside of boys original uci(pr card)

I just called IRCC, they told me they are dealing the cases received Feb3th. my renew card application submit online on Feb 17th not completed yet.
I have a question, does online application will receive AOR or any notice?

I had also sent my paper application for pr card renewal through ups on 13Mar23, Courier was delivered at New Waterford, NS on 16Mar23, nothing so far . Looks like they have not started processing my application yet.

Looks like IRCC is not consistent with its response. I read somewhere that they were processing Feb 09 application last week.

yeah doesnt make sense. My application was received on Feb 3rd (online) and still is stuck in the dumps.

I know and with the current ongoing strike, I think I will loose my mind. Because I badly need my PR. I even requested urgency too. But havent heard anything about it yet.
