Hi Lilly,
1. Have your checked your calculation of RO to make sure it's solid, including day trips to the states?
2. Do you file tax return every year and information you give to match your NOA including change of address and income to match?
These two points are what I believe IRCC will check to make sure your application is logically right and honest without a second review.
It's very bad that if IRCC raises flag, it costs lots of time to a final decision. Sometimes could be just very minor mistake.
1. Day trips (even an overnight trip to the U.S. (or anywhere) still count as a full day (or days) in Canada.
2. Why would `income' even be an issue, since the ONLY thing that is needed is meeting the Residency Obligation.
Thanks. For me, I got the AOR on last Tuesday night and strike started on Wednesday
Let's see how soon it gets over...

Is it better to mail or apply online for a resident card renewal?

just do the paper one
Anyone has issue logging into PR portal. I renewed my PR card more than 2 month ago, but I still hasnt heard anything. I used to be able to log into my PR portal and check status. But recently I can no longer log in. No matter how many times I "successfully" reset my password, I still can not log in. It tells me that my email and password does not match - but I literally just reset it (multiple tries). Any one has the same issue? Any suggestions?

Are you using the correct link to log in? This happened to me once when I got an email from IRCC. They sent me a link for a representative to log in that looked identical but my credentials would not work.
Make sure you use this link, it just worked for me with no issues:

Do you know whether anyone has renewed their online Kid PR application?
Would the online form be the same for both adults and children?
Should I make different profiles for my child and adult users, or may they share the same login profile?

Thank you so much for the tip!
I sent by courier on March 21th. No update (including AoR) so far. I want to know when we can receive AOR?
Did you get any updates?
Thank you so much for the tip!
I guess you use a wrong site at the very beginning of your question. It's a headache, you must have many account with IRCC, for different purposes.
I use my PORTAL account try to log in my IRCC account...and finally realize this myself...
