I sent in my PR card renewal application for which it will arrive there tomorrow April 20th. I have a flight in October 11, do you think I would get my PR in time? A little bit concerned now considering the strike...
If your application is normal, 5 months is more than safe. Most people get renewed in 3 months. However, there is exception, less than 1% I guess...so don't worry about things you are not likely face.
Hi Lilly,
1. Have your checked your calculation of RO to make sure it's solid, including day trips to the states?
2. Do you file tax return every year and information you give to match your NOA including change of address and income to match?
These two points are what I believe IRCC will check to make sure your application is logically right and honest without a second review.
It's very bad that if IRCC raises flag, it costs lots of time to a final decision. Sometimes could be just very minor mistake.
It has been almost 6 months for my PR card renewal (Online). I have called them several times and sent online forms. All they say is that it is processing, in the meantime, nothing happens. What can I do?
This frustration started affecting my mental health. I can't work and keep focused on what I do.
I moved to Canada to live a better life in a developed first-world country. My experience has been the complete opposite and this PR renewal is not the only thing.
Me too.. I received a response for my web form and it says my application is not in the system yet and I should contact the courier to make sure it was delivered to NS
Nope. you will get it. It looks like they stopped working on Wednesday due to a strike.. In my case, I got AOR on Tuesday night, but nothing after that..
