I have been waiting for a decision regarding my inlaws super visa application since Nov 2022. Seeing your timelines, I shudder to think on how long IRCC takes to process a simple visit visa application. On top of that, they want to go on strike for better pay & benefits. My mind just boggles on how they want their incompetence to be rewarded.

I had applied for my parent's visitor visa on April 29, 2022 but have not yet received a response. This time, I have applied for their super visa on February 7th, 2023; however eligibility is yet to be reviewed. Not able to understand what is causing the delay while in parallel I see applicants getting approved quite quickly!

I applied for Super visa for my MOM back in Feb 2022.

Now she is just completing her follow up medical test and we are anticipating the Super visa to be approved.

Her Passport is expiring in next 3 months so I renewed it.

Can I send them new Passport details through web form ?

I had the same issue and I sent them the new passport scan through a webform. can I know which country they applied from and which visa office?

Hi, is there a case here where your parents stayed for 3-4 years in Canada under regular tourist visa and went back home to their respective country and apply for supervisa and got approved?

I am worried if I apply my parents for supervisa and their application will get denied due to overstaying as a tourist ( with valid visitor record ). I am worried if the officer will think that the ties in their country is not that strong because they stayed in Canada for 4 years.

Please advise. I need your help.
