This time around, after they received my fingerprints again, it took only one they for them to be processed and my Background check was marked Complete again. Let's see how soon before the Invite arrives. Perhaps even before the two years mark?
Wondering if it's gonna be the same for me, I have also moved out of Toronto recently. I'm also curious whether faster processing of the latest step is because of that.
Thought it's just me left... After I re-sent my fingerprints, my BG is Complete again.
To make things funnier - my wife, who applied 15 months after me, just caught up with me... We're joking she'll get her citizenship sooner...
I wouldn't mind if we join the same ceremony Don't give up the hope, you turn will come. I got some progress the moment I almost gave up mine and stopped checking the tracker everyday.

I'm not sure if it helped what I did, but I guess it wouldn't harm. After I requested GCMS and CSIS notes, I sent a paper letter to Vancouver Office with inquiry about my process being stalled - potentially due to system glitch or such. I have also called CIC info line (use any option from the menu that will put you through) and asked if there is anything I can do to help with my process. After a week or two, things started moving on.
2022 online applications finally seem to be moving as well. Not quite the 3-6 month express treatment that paper applications get, but early 2022 online applications seem to be taking around a year now. Unfortunately for remaining 2021 and older applications, IRCC continues to prioritize new applications.
