Will do. I think mine is classified as Outland, as I have applied from my home country then moved to Canada a few months after my application was received. - Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah that's fine. My advice is - if position and duties aren't changing - insist your employer only increase your wage without changing your title (i.e. take the money but don't take being called "senior accountant" if you are currently "accounting specialist"). Save your self the headache of telling the province.

OH MY GOD!!! Yes, I am waiting. Were you in Government or the military? Is that why they are doing a detailed check? This is just crazy. When is your AR and AOR?

A lot of folks who have applied after me have received their PAL but not me.. I got MP 3 months ago and nothing after that. I recently got my PNP supported closed WP ext approved. Does WP ext application go thru similar checks like PR application? Like eligibility, Background check, security etc?
Eligibility - I think for sure, but not sure about BGC. If the WP ext also goes thru Eligibility / BGC - I don't know why I haven't received PAL on the my PR yet (coz its PNP supported in my case). I also think that there 2x or maybe 3x number of folks in NON-EE stream compared to EE and they (IRCC) are processing application/applicant who are at 11~12 months from their date of AR - like we see many of March 2022 folks getting portal etc, and in the coming weeks, we may see folks from AR - April 2022 getting their portal. I know there are still some folks (or perhaps many) from Q4 2021, going beyond ~13~14 months of time and are still waiting, they must have some serious mental strength within them, going this long, the most stressful thing is to have temporary status maintained, and even though if temp status is valid for couple of years, it still feels like that time is less, I hope their journey comes to end (and mine too). Anyways, staying positive for now.

I applied on 2021 Apr and I got an aor on 2022 March. I served for military in south Korea but that's not a reason for checking criminal record too long like this I guess

That's ridiculous - many immigrants to Canada do compulsory military service in their home country, what matters most in terms your security is your police check. I take it that's clean, so IRCC is really fucking you over here. You are now entering a phase where this has gotten out of hand in terms of processing time and I would start the process of a writ of mandamus to force IRCC's hand into a decision.

I just got ADR today, Edmonton office. I was really glad to see movement on my file but reading how slow the Edmonton office is brought my hopes down a bit...
