Got work permit extension approved in Jan 2023, Visa also got expired by end of Jan 2023, so applied for TRV inside Canada on Jan 18 2023 Wednesday, ack was received, after that till now no updates .
Used old GC key portal for applying TRV, could that be reason for delay ?.
I have travel plans to go out of country and come back, not sure when the application will get approved and when I will get PPR.
Any one applied in same time period and got any updates ?
More than 1 month got completed.

Hi you were talking about some information letter? I received one today too. But I think u received it after ppr. I received today after my passport reached them around a week ago. Counterfoil is still not generated though and last time when I spoke with an agent a few days back they said that they haven't updated receipt of passport yet. But she would make a note about it.

Unfortunately nothing can be done to your request to expedite the application and there is no guarantee of time when the application will be finalized. We thank you for your patience. Thank you for the interest you have shown toward Canada." <=== does this information letter has any significance? Is there any sort of concern or what?
Mine was just informing the TRV was approved. I think yours is in response to a webform. I really think the system is a little overwhelmed so certain processes are being delayed.

We sent our passports on 3rd Feb they received them on 8th Feb.
My spouse has a US visa interview tomorrow, unfortunately, we have to cancel the appointment. We struggled so hard to get the US visa slot and IRCC again is not responsive.
