hi
I have applied for trv inside Canada and due to emergency i have to travel backhome (Inida). i want to know that after getting ppr request can i send passport to the vfs in india for stamping. has anyone done this before.
Hi. So you received ppr now when you are in India? When did you apply for trv?

Bloody all it takes is less than 5 seconds to stamp the passport. You already have the eligibility approved, now why the hell will you take 14 days to fckin just put a stamp ffs?
Someone please explain me this for real

It did say delivered, at 11:35 a.m. and showed the name of the person.

My passport still hasn’t been sent back to me yet :/
give them a call, their office is open today. I spoke with an agent. My passport was not updated delivered yet but agent would put a note about it for them to update it

It should be 10-15 business days from the day they receive the passport, then 2-3 business days to ship it back to you. From Jan 25th, you should see the the Counterfoil by Feb 14th max, and then receive it by Feb 17th. This is an estimate based on previews people's experiences here.

If you need to travel (and it's an emergency to travel) ... you can submit an emergency request.
where can we submit emergency request

Update (kinda):

Applied - Dec 23
Info letter stating approved - Jan 12
PPR - Jan 20
Passport received at IRCC - Jan 24
Counterfoil printed - Feb 15
Passport received by FedEx - Feb 17

It’s saying it should be delivered today but it’s still showing as being in ON and I’m in AB.

mayne don't leave me lol. There doesn't seem to be anyone else from Dec here apart from me it feels like

So it's taking around 20+ days from the delivery of passport to get counterfoil generated
