Hello guys!
I have quetion about a changing job. If I leave my current employee which received nomination for non EE portal, it gonna effect my application for PR? if yes, what I supposed to do?
Canada's immigration department has assigned tens of thousands of applicants to immigration officers or placeholder codes that are inactive and no longer working within their system — some who've last logged in and processed files up to 16 years ago, and from airports and visa offices around the world.
[...]show 59,456 open, pending or re-opened applications that were assigned to 779 former employees or dormant computer placeholder codes used to hold applicants in queue as of this February.[...]
[...]CBC filed an access to information request to IRCC this January asking for all inactive employees and placeholder codes currently assigned to applicants.
In October, the department sent data that showed a list of hundreds of codes — "a mix of former employees who are no longer active and computer placeholders" as of February 2022. [...]
PS: there is a search tool at the bottom to "Search your officer code below to see if it's among 779 'inactive' employees, codes"
How do you get your officer code? Order a high chance of winning lottery called GCMS notes lol
Speechless. Literally.
Isn't this an sc*m? They said there are systematic racism/sexism everywhere...but what about systematic human-trafficking/slaverism lol
Oh my goodness! This is just crazy! I now believe that my friend could be of them but not sure as its 19 months already and no update. What else can we do while waiting for GCMS notes? Another point I would like to discuss with you guys is that he already had his AOR but he did not receive any email and when we approached his MP his office called IRCC and they gave him his application number. What do you guys think, what could be the reason that there was already an AOR but no email sent? Could it be that an officer was working on his file but then he left and it was sitting there as it is?
Got my PAL on 14th October called ircc today they said background checks and security checks are completed but decision is not made yet how long it can take to receive portal1 now ??

Me too, I did my upfront medical. I submitted my PR app last Sept 17 then upfront Sept 27. Got my AOR Dec 2 and medical passed same day. better for you to book an appointment for your upfront medical.
Can you or anyone, please, state how this can be done. Was it that you or your physician submitted the medical result through a webfrom? Who did the submission(at the time before the receipt of AOR); you or the physician? Please, help throw more light on this. Thanks

Is anyone here with OINP non-express entry profiles? Any thoughts on the average times between the various phases? Any experiences you can share?
With regards to relative timing for these non-EE nominations, if one were to get an EE ITA in the next months, would it make sense to go through that process which would take until Q3 2023 for completion or not?
IRCC is just a terrible non-transparent black box...! And no sight of this mismanagement ending any time soon!
I just got an email from BC to provide documents to verify my nomination. I reckon it is due to the fact that the nomination is going to expire next month. But I wonder if anyone has the same experience?

Why would they be asking you this if you're already been nominated and submitted your PR application? It's really strange. At this stage, it's IRCC who should be asking you to renew your nomination if required, not BC. I think this is the second time I've seen this happen - BC PNP seems to be stepping out of line.

Yeah, it is weird. But it comes from an investigator of the BC Fraud Prevention department. I guess maybe it was because I got my nomination while on implied status. But they ask for bank statements and paystubs which makes it mind-boggling.
