Hello,

I have a question about the upfront medical exam for PR. Is it normal that in the "e-medical tracking sheet it says: "Upfront medical type: worker" ?

Hello,
Just saw a 3rd ghost update on my account 1 hour ago... It could be related to the medical exam status maybe.. I have called IRCC last week to try to have more information about why they are asking me to have a medical exam.

CEC Inland:

ITA: 6 July
AOR: 23 July
1st ghost update: September 21st - Biometrics and UCI numbers updated
2nd ghost update: October 19th - Medical exam requested (although upfront medical exam completed)
3rd ghost update: November 2nd

Hey bro qq, did they mention why do you need to retake the medical exam? Did you take all of the examination again? Or just a specific test? TIA.

Hi,
No they did not mention the reason. I called IRCC and they told to me to wait, the agent could not also understand why I got the message asking me to retake a medical exam.

Medical exam passed.
I did not submit a new exam.

UCI update: Nov 03'2022 - to previously provided UCI
Medical Passed: Nov 03'2022

What will be next step? Portal 1 email? anyone know timeline for that?

Check your account tomorrow, same time. Sometimes after a ghost update, the account is updated after 24h (happened with me today and in September)

I believe know they will perform background check and eligibility review, detail review of documents and request further documents if needed.

31st Oct - ADR (PCC) - Submitted same day > 3rd Nov - Additional document uploaded
31st Octo - Medical passed - but then disappeared after a few hours and then reverted to "We do not need medical exam".
Did anyone experience the same? We did not upload upfront medical - but old medical (that expired in Jan 2022) done for work permit. As per new guidelines, we may be exempted from new medical.
