We submitted our OCI application in Brampton on Aug 26th (Walk in ). Until yesterday on BLS site it showed application is in progress at consulate. We haven't seen any update on OCI website.

Today on BLS website status changed to this

We called so many times after 4pm to BLS Brampton to ask what's wrong with application..no one picked up phone. Does anyone know the call center hours.

The status on BLS has now changed to 'Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping'. Just confirming if I can go collect the OCI from the BLS between 3-4:15?

Just checked the status and it says Document status printed and received at Toronto.

but on BLS it says under process. Any idea when can I pick that up ? Or should I call BLS to ask.

Same thing for my apps. Submitted 23rd august 2022. Are you doing in person pickup and if yes when ?

Just called BLS they mentioned it's yet to come to them so sometime next week I should be able to pickup.

Just called BLS, Consulate wants parents original marriage certificate for my daughter 's OCI application (We gave attested photo copy...BLS officer returned our original). There is nothing wrong with two out of three applications.

@gopalag As @nc_positiveguy said, welcome to the waitlist. I applied on the same day as you, but in the North York BLS. The status is same as yours. Will keep you posted if I get any updates and please let me know if there is any progress in your app.

From what I could decipher from the posts here in forum , it is taking 20-22 days after the AOR for the OCI to be printed. Takes some more time after that I guess to be dispatched. So I would actually give 4 weeks from AOR as the ball park time taken.

Trying to setup an appointment on the BLS website to surrender the Indian citizenship.
Which drop down option should I select: Passport or Visa?
If I select Passport and setup an appointment. on the email received it says the following..

Please be available at the following address 5 Minute before your appointment time. -
