Hi, I have received passport request for my parents, can anyone please guide me on what are pending steps? Would they get visas on their passport and are good to travel? Thanks!

It’s is my father , who is currently in India.

Then he has to land first.
Did you update the addresses of dependents?

I believe that he will send passport for stamp/COPR and once he landed in Canada, dependents will get PPR/virtual landing instruction in Canada.

But others who has went through this process can confirm. Make sure that IRCC knows that dependents are in Canada and need to land after PA landed.

@laxsun received passport with visa and COPR today from New Delhi embassy through VFS jalandhar via blue dart courier. Finally longwait of 38 months 6 days over.

I am not sure if anyone did , but I don't think that hypertension could become a reason for 2nd Medical or any other detailed request. All I know that a further medical assessment is asked when the person had a TB or HIV history.

hi , I desperately need help. My father was previously married and his wife died. However we do not have ID card, marriage certificate or death certificate from 60 years back.Records were on paper back then and we have no official or unofficial document to prove it.
CIC is asking for a divorce or death certificate. Has anyone been in a similar situation and was able to resolve with CIC

Hello guys..for relationship proof to principle applicant they asked for voter card,adhaar card and school certificates..I only have school certificates..what should i do?..I already provided them my birth certificate

What did you do? I also have no voter card or adhaar card as I am citizen since 7-8 years. I only have school certificate and birth certificate.

You can simply write the explanation / declaration letter on legal stamp paper and get it notarized - Should be fine.

Update : Finally got the e-COPR today in the portal to download. There is no picture on the e-COPR document and the section is blank. is that normal these days ?

IRCC know about the address as the letter has Canadian address for all, even though when i updated the dependents address to mentioned they only dependent are in Canada

Hello, any idea how long does it take to receive the PR card? My parents landed Toronto on 5th July 2022, it's been 7 weeks but haven't got any updates... Is there any possible way to Know the status of PR card?
