That's the same response I got and then received the oath invite one week later. Like I said before, I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Received the oath date today for next week after 2 weeks of this email too

I submitted a request for GCMS notes last month and I received them today. I shows a whole bunch of things that they haven't even started on with my citizenship application. It also tells you their due date which was a year and a half ago.

In 2 weeks it will be 2 years for my application with the test and background complete, but none of the other steps completed. Language, Residency and Prohibitions are all not started.

UPDATE

- Completed test on 28th April
- This morning, everything shows Completed , except for Ceremony.
- Old ECAS system changed from In Process to Decision Made.

Is that weird ? Here I was thinking, they are gonna ask for passport copies or another date for interview. Thoughts ?

Does your notes - show any other update towards the end, or which inventory shelf you file is in ?

Is there something specific I should look for in the document to see that? It's 43 pages long and I couldn't find the word 'inventory' or 'shelf'. What am I looking for? Thanks

It will be in the first three pages under "PAPER FILE" - it will state your office / CIC number and Location.

Still no updates here. Test status changed to completed on Nov 2nd and nothing since then. I’ve tried reaching out to MP, contacting IRCC, emailing the office (Ottawa) inquiring about status, didn’t change anything. Same non-response about COVID-19 affecting processing times.

I guess the waiting game now starts for me - if the DM is for real ! Waiting on Oath I guess from now.

Yeh .. big old forever waiting game ! Dont know which one was worst
- Waiting for Immigration Sponsorship or Waiting for Citizenship , I would say the latter.

Finally oath after 2 years. did test may 2021 and interview also in may 2021 but then file stuck.

@abcdmud - Did you ever get your Notes ordered and did it give you any more details ? They still haven't requested FP from you ?
