I have same Aor June 16. My bgc says in progress we will message you when we start your bg from July 21. Last gu was Aug 12. Its very frustrating.

Hey everyone, i had a very confused update yesterday in my account about the background check
my background check status used to be : We are processing your background check , we will send you a message if we need more information
And yesterday it changed to : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check

it feels like a step backward ?
i know it used to be the false IP2 to real IP1 but i dont know if this theory still apply to how IRCC process the applications now.
Anyone who have experienced the same situation please join this thread.

as per folks before us - BGV to be started or started or inprogress
