Also just received the email in regards to my Express Entry application. No new messages to read. Living on Ontario. Strange.

Hello Frends,

I received a new message from CIC.

Note-
1] No updates to the profile score or ITA status.

2] When you check the message list. select the new message you received . you will be able to see the PDF. Open the PDF and you will be able to see a good news.

It will say that your profile has been selected into the "Express Entry Pool of Candidates".

As per my knowledge when this express entry was launched. It clearly mentioned that once the profiles are received. out of the profiles recieved. over the period of time CIC will select the potential candiates into express entry pool. ITA would be given to the candidates depending upon the score they have from the pool and not from the bunch of profiles recieved.

1st step is submitting the profile.
2nd step should be from CIC to select your profile into the EE pool
3rd step would be ITA offer.

I have checked my account but there is no change. Any clue?

I got a message from my personal email from CIC that my application has been updated and that I should log in to myCIC account. However when I checked my account, there is no update and no mesaage either.

Shall I just ignore the email? What shall I do? I find it weird that CIC would send me a message but there is no update. If CIC sent a message does it really mean theres an update or maybe it was wrongly sent? Im bit worried coz I dont know what is the message maybe they require additional document or an update in the decision.

Appreciate all your replies.

Welcome to the club.

Happens a lot of times. Whenever you get such a message, you need to login and check if there is ACTUALLY a new message. Most of the times, it is just smoke without any fire.

CIC constantly run the system. They update the programs. So if u get a ITA and when you submit your profile and the work on your application you can order your file notes. On the notes you will see they do eligibility check on pnp, Cec,FSW,fst, ext but will only give u a ita for the programm you apply under. So till then the system updates and score and points as well. Every time they make an amendment ie: police clearance 3-6 months the new Cec work that under 12 months count the system run and see what u have so you will get these throughout the duration of Mycic account and your application

No change in my actual application.

I have got 2 update messages and 3 mails that I have a new message on my CIC account since this morning........not changes to show just spamming my inbox.....
some problem with their system....my score is 429 and not residing in Ontario
