Wrong Country Where Applying

Hi everyone!

I'll be the first to admit my English is not really good, which is apparent in my temporary residence application where I wrote Canada in 'Country where applying' *facepalm* And I've received instruction to submit my passport for further process to the country which I listed in 'Country where applying' in my application form, yupp Canada....I'm a Malaysian living in Malaysia, sorry fellow Malaysians out there TT Anyway, can I still submit my passport to the Kuala Lumpur VAC? I'd be really really grateful for your response!

Oh Man !

I would suggest you to go to VFS/VAC office and talk to the staff there and explain them the situation. I am sure they are in the capacity to sort this out than anyone on this forum. Good luck !

Send an email to the Ottawa office they will flip your application to the nearest VFS office.

Email address:

CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Include the following information:

Your application number;

Surname and Given name(s);

Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);

Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number or Passport number;

I had personally experienced this and it took around a week for the Ottawa immigration office to respond to my email. Trust this helps!
