Working Requirements for Spouse in Canada

Hi,
I am applying PR on the basis of my Spouse’s points as she has Masters in engineering whereas I have a bachelors degree in engineering. After getting PR and landing in canada, is it necessary for her to find a job as she will be the primary applicant? Her preference is to remain a housewife now where I will be doing the job and supporting both of us. I hope this is acceptable.
