I have got a question regarding CEC. IF I have completed my studies and applied for my Post graduate work permit and waiting for a reply and I work full time during that period. Can I calclulate this time under CEC. We are allowed to work after completion of studies but can we use this time period under cec or not. or I have to calculate the time period from the date of my post graduate work permit.
I had a valid study permit till march 15 2015 and completed my course on dec 14. Applied on Feb 25, 2015 for work permit and started working on Feb 27. I am still waiting for my work permit as I have to submit additional fee. Now can I make a profile as soon as I complete 1 year from on feb 27 2016 or the work experience will be calculated from the date on my work permit.
My work permit got delayed due to some additional $100 fees and I am still waiting a response from CIC and I will be having 1 year work permit only.

Don't worry, you can work legally off-campus for up to 3 months after you finish your studies, and you applied for the PGWP before that time expired, so you're OK to work.
As for whether you can "count" that time, that's more complicated. Technically, under the CEC program I would say yes, but you should provide a written explanation as to why the time before you received your PGWP should "count" (work was performed AFTER you finished your program and you were no longer a full-time student) because many VOs will just look at the issue date of the PGWP.
HOWEVER, under Express Entry, I am no longer certain about that. PMM indicated in one of his posts that work has to be performed on a valid work permit, meaning work on implied status no longer counts. It is possible that a stricter interpretation is now being used. This was not true in the past, and may not be true for CEC, but EE has a different set of rules...
So as always, the best advice is to work a full year on the PGWP before you apply, if that is possible, even if that means you have to leave Canada for a few months while your application is processed...
