I am trying to apply for Canadian work visa from inside of Canada, i have recently obtained post graduate open work permit. When I determine my eligibility for work visa, cic site is directing me to the application for visa that is outside of Canada IMM5257E, whereas I am expecting the one from inside of Canada. If anyone can guide me in this, may be I am filling in something wrong while determining my eligibility.

Maybe clarify exactly what you are applying for if you already have an open work permit (PGWP). Are you applying for a PR immigration stream ?
IMM5257E is for a TRV as far as I can see anyway.
Yes I am applying for TRV on my work permit basis.
