As you mentioned in another thread, you got your claimant ID at the port of entry. We all have no claimant ID even we already submitted our applications.

I submitted my application for refugee status about 2 months ago. Last week applied for open work permit. Not sure if I can get it. Because I just received acknowledgment of claims.

Based on my experience You may not get your work permit before your eligibility interview and since you received AOC you can read at the back of it the next steps and instructions.
