Hello Everyone,

At last letters and documents have been coming back to me regarding my PR. Yesterday i received a letter stating that i was found eligible for permanent residence, and my wife eligible to sponsor me. I have a meeting with the local Ottawa office this week regarding my application. On one of the letters it states that i can now apply for an open work permit. Can anyone tell me if this is the right application i should be looking for - Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay, or Remain in Canada [IMM 1249] and if not could someone please point me in the right direction! Thanks in Advanced

Yes that is the correct form, but if it was an in-Canada application, and you have received 1st level approval, the interview with Ottawa CIC maybe for "landing" and you don't require a work permit then.
