Work permit restoration processing time

Hi I missed the date to apply for new visa so I applied for work permit restoration.
I also applied for PR through MPNP.
I applied restoration on September 13, 2018. when I call CIC to check the processing time, it says it will take 67days. It's been 49 days from I applied. Does that processing time really works? Or does it usually takes faster or slower?
If I go to the border, is there any possibility that I can get it faster? Please help...

That processing time is a guide time, so it could longer or shorter. Just depends on how many are applying and individual applications.
