Restoration of status processing time - please help

It seems to be taking 4-5 months these days. But faster is always possible.

And is it okay that I applied the day before my status expire?can they refuse my visitor extension because of that?

Hi everyone. Sorry I have a question. I Came to Canada as a visitorOn May 2019 and applied for H&C. I extend my visitor visa until May 2020 and apply to visa restoration on August 2020. Should I apply for visa extension on November or I have to wait for my visa restoration?

My husband and I applied for sponsorship and an open work permit application.
I got open work permit for 2 years, but didn't receive answer about sponsorship application. Also I have visitor record until December.
And now I have open work permit too for 2 years.
Do I need to apply for extension that visitor record or if I have open work permit for 2 years it's the same extension.

As long as you have a valid permit you are fine to be in the country and dont need anything else, the visa is only required to travel to Canada if you exit.
