Not yet. Latest status is that the passports were enroute to VFS LA from IRCC. How about you?

Application type is whatever Visa type you applied for (in my case it's a Work Permit) and Location is the VFS location you are sending your passports to.

I selected "Original Passport submission" as the application type. For the location, I put Los Angeles VAC. Not sure if it is a cause of concern.

Should be fine, they will anyways ask you to send the pictures of the sticker they put on your passport when you got your biometrics done.

Yes. We selected "original passport submission' too - and it was fine.
LA VAC seems to be very responsive.

I think till now recent ones are 4 weeks .. like Bio done on Sept 07 are got it yesterday. So I was hopping Oct 12/13 for us , post Thanks giving holiday on Oct 11th.

Yes, I believe so. The lawyers did the paperwork on my behalf. And they said I qualified for the 2 week processing, so I assume it's GSS.
