Work permit for employee A valid for employe B

When i applied for work permit after completing my post-grad work permit time, I told them that i am currently working for employee A and showed them my employement letter. When i got my work permit, it was stated on work permit that I can work for Employee A.

Now what if i want to switch my job. C

1: Can i switch job?
2: Will i be able to start working while my "new" work permit is in process?

you can switch jobs
but before you switch you have to get employer c to get you a LMO and then a work permit

I did it while i was still under contract with employee a and it needed working fine

the problem if employee A knows about your plan he can decide to terminate you and then you have to pack and leave the country
