My case is of 11th July - Principal Applicant (Close WP) - Spouse (Open WP) and Son (Visitor Visa extension) No update as of now.

I am almost in the same situation with you, i applied in 16 July for close WP extension using CSQ and Spouse(Open WP), but until now i did not get any update, and they did not ask me to provide medical visit or anything else, they should ask right ? Am i wrong ?

you don't need medical for extension

it is an extension for me but for my wife it is a new one

Just to let you know. My colleague applied for Closed work permit extension and visitor extension together on 16th July. It got approved on 25th Oct 2018
