My GF is currently on a student visa in Canada and we're planning to getting married soon. If I go there on a tourist visa and get my marriage registered in Canada, then what will be my legal status in Canada till her & after her studies. Can I convert/extend my stay into a work permit?
 
Do you already have a TRV ? If you do not have a TRV what reasons would you plan to use for purpose of visit ?
