Work permit duration after 1 year of Meng in electrical and computer Engineering

Hello guys, i have got admission in Queens university for programme Meng in ece and the duration of program is 8 months of actual study or 1 year.
So my question is will i get 3 year work permit after my 1 year masters or i will get only 1 year work permit?

You will get 8months or maximum of 1year of work permit.

You need to complete two years of studies to qualify for a three year PGWP.

Hello thanks all for ur replies.

I have also got admission offer from carleton for same programme and that programe duration is for 2 years.
But as we know queens ranking is far better compared to carleton ,so according to u guyz which one should i prefer....?

Do you know any other university(any province) that offers a 1yr MENG pgm in ECE?
Also,did you submit a GRE score?
Were your recommendations academic or professional?

It will be considered as 1 year only if you complete in 1 year . If you complete it in 2 year the 2yrs/3yrs work permit.
