Congratulations to you Arunesh Good to hear many of the guys are getting PPR from India. I completed my biometrics upfront medical on 9th March from Bangalore but no news yet don't know what could be the issue. My employer's lawyer had filed under GTS LMIA with Noc 2171

I had done my biometrics on 9th also me not able to check the latest status of my application since the lawyer has all the details ..my medical was done upfront before submitting my online application

Okay ask him to send snap shot of your account it will show all steps. Once you pass your medicals you should receive correspondence letter which states biometrics validity letter. So this way you can know that ur application is moving not just collecting dust by seating in queue. Check with lawyer tell him to send snap shot.

I got the original passport request from CIC yesterday around evening time IST. application status is showing "your application was approved. you need to send us your passport to finalize your application." what should I do now? VAC are non functional and also I am still waiting to submit my biometrics as VFS are closed since march2020.

march 23rd biometric collection letter

couldn't give biometric as vfs were shutdown due to lockdown since then.

May 27th medical passed

Nov 4th received original passport request.

I can see the biometrics data on the IRCC site when you enter the UID, does it mean the biometrics validity letter is there? I am anyways going to connect with my employer today to let them know that in India files are getting processed.

so when did you give biometrics? where? because per my understanding without biometrics no one receives PPR correct me if wrong

I am not sure if that has to be consider but for now I just received PPR yesterday. will have to wait and see if I get 2 way courier mail from them.

No, I didn't do my biometrics yet and that's why i am confused that how did i get PPR from CIC. so was wondering if any one from here are same as me.

Thats really strange, do you fall under essential worker category/ Biometric exempted category as they waived biometrics for few job codes check online. have you been to Canada before?
