Work permit confusion

What will be the duration of work permit after completing a course of 16 months duration ie 4 semesters back to back??ie the duration work permit will be 16 months or 3 years?

I am looking for an answer to this question as well. I started a thread yesterday about it but there hasn't been a single response. Giving your post a bump so maybe someone with personal experience can comment.

It is going to be 3 years....I know students who went there for a 1 year PG diploma and then joined another college after the completion of 1 year for the last semester of any other course.....yes, some colleges allow that...the only reason reason students do that so that they have 4 semester of studies....and then they got 3 years of PGWP.....I did not hear it from a friend or someone...I talked to these guys who did this to confirm....

If you studied 8 months (2 Semesters) which is 1 year program you will get 1 year PGWP. I have seen some cases where people get 3 years PGWP.

If you studied 16/24 months (4/6Semesters) which is 2/3 year program you will get 3 year PGWP.

It doesn't matter if you complete your semester back to back or if take break in between.
