Hi,

Im currently living in Toronto with a closed work permit (which is still valid until Sept 2013) from an employer/company which already closed down few months ago. I just received a positive LMO from my new employer. I will be moving to Alberta for the work placement. My TRV expired last July 2011 and Im from a country that is not visa excempt.

1. Can i still apply for a work permit at ANY border (Buffalo,Niagara).
2. Do i need to renew my TRv first?

Please advise.
