Question: Did you encounter any problem when you went for vacation while your work permit is on process? I will leave only after my medical exam. Please enlighten me. THanks!

u applied online? Just inform cic by email that you are going for vacation in Philippines. Did u submit already your Saudi police cert, nbi clearance and additional information for employee and employer noa, itr? Anyway you have your active email account with them, they will send you emails whatever they want...just check your inbox always...
I filed it thru VFS Jeddah, and they forwarded it to Canada Embassy Riyadh the next day. Todate, my status says "being processed at Canadian Embassy Riyadh"...will it last for 6 months?

Yap everything is submitted, including NBI, police clearance and passport. Would it be earlier considering that I submitted my passport together with my application?

u submitted the green nbi clearance? Same with me i submitted all papers but because there are papers needed from the employer so they cant process my papers and they required me to submit again another police clearance because its only valid for 3 months. That's the problem with VFS, they should not require us to submit the police clearance early because the cic will send request to us thru cvac. And as what i mentioned on my previous logs, the nbi clearance i took from phil embassy jeddah is not valid, i took my nbi in phils.

after submitting ALL docs including my passport, they emailed me requesting for NBI clearance.
What I did is to submit an expired NBI clearance originally from the philippines dated Jan 18, 2013, then I attached an explanation letter telling them that I have NOT returned back since then, thus NO record supersedes after my departure last May 2013.
I just hope they did get my point there.
