Work in excess of 30 hrs a week

If one works for 40 hours a week for more than 6 months , will that contribute to a shorter period of work experience for the CEC application ?
I have been working for 40 hrs a week starting June 15 2013.Does that mean I could apply before June 15 2014?

Sorry it will not. You need to be working for 12 months. Can not cut it short.

Unfortunately, working extra hours will not reduce the minimum time you need to be working for, in order to be eligible to apply for CEC. You have to work a minimum of 12 months.

In fact, I would recommend to add some weeks on top of the 12 months, just to be safe.
