Hi everyone,
I know work experience acquired while studying doesn't count. I've already listed my eligible work experience but I also have 4 years of part-time experience from when I was in university. Should I be mentioning this in my Express Entry profile?
It says:
"Do not enter any work related to or performed during an apprenticeship process." but I'm not sure if university studies count or not.
Thanks!

I called OOPNP and they said, no, just put student during that period.
I did job during my masters ... It means that does not count?
I was trying to find more info on this on the CIC website and I found these:
"To be considered under the Canadian Experience Class:
You cannot count work experience you gained while enrolled as a full-time student. Your work experience must have been gained while on a valid work permit, such as the Post-Graduation Work Permit.
To be considered under the Federal Skilled Worker Program:
Your work experience must have been full-time (or the equivalent in part-time hours), worked continuously and paid, for at least one year in the same occupation."
Source: cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=855&t=29
And also this:
"You can count part-time work toward the work experience requirement, as long as you were not a full-time student at the time."
Source: cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=393&t=6
What I understand from this is:
- If you're applying under CEC, the experience acquired during studies (part-time or full-time) doesn't count.
- If you're applying under FSW, only full-time experience counts?
I'm still not entirely sure on this. Maybe more knowledgable users out there can help.
So for oopnp i do not need to send any reference letter for odd job which i did while studying???
for FSW, any internships and co-ops done while a student are not counted.
