I received a letter from my college in May 2018 confirming I had met my requirements for graduation. I was on a co-op work permit at the time. I applied for a PGWP in May and received it in July 2018. I understand that I was on implied status from the date I applied for the PGWP.
When calculating a year of Canadian work experience for the CEC, can I begin counting from the date I applied for the PGWP, considering I was on a co-op work permit before, or can I only count from the date it was approved?
To clarify - I am still working for the same company.

I've seen many posts saying the same thing. This isn't affected by the fact that I was on a co-op work permit/study permit before, is it? Thanks for your response, by the way!

only in that if you were not on a study permit, you would not be eligible for the PGWP. This is just the rule on when you are authorized to work specific to the PGWP. We're not making this up - this info is on the IRCC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1181&top=15

Making a mistake is not "misrepresentation." Deliberately trying to deceive IRCC is misrepresentation. Unless you are trying to cheat, try to relax a bit : )

I guess so. You're v helpful thank you. I hate not knowing, y'know? I just want it all to be over and done, lol. This helps because I don't want to wait 19 months for a paper-based PR application based on my OINP nomination
