I have split work experience between 2 jobs, but they are both for the same NOC code (for a Chemical Engineer).
The first job was from August 2014 to February 2015.
The second is from October 2015 to current.
As the first was for 7 months and the second is soon to be reaching 5 months, would this mean I am able to claim 1 years work experience as a Chemical Engineer? Both jobs are full-time continuous roles.
Or would I need to wait until I have 1 year in a single job, even if they are both part of the same NOC code?

So even though there was a 7 month gap between those two roles, I'd still be able to claim 1 year's continuous experience? As both roles themselves have been continuous, full time roles?
