Still doesn’t mean those already issued are getting cancelled. Some may be reassessed but it is really going forward that they will no longer be issued as a default.
You need to submit a webform to withdraw your application and contact CBSA to have your passport returned at the airport. Normally you provide proof of your flight so CBSA can return your passport at the airport and ensure you leave Canada.
I am in a same situation. I want to withdraw my case before the first hearing. But will not go to home country. I have other country visa and want to travel there. Will Canada or air lines allowed? TIA
