I have recently been approved for a 2 year work permit for Canada via the IEC program. In the past I have overstayed a US visa by a number of years, will this result in me being denied entry to Canada at the port of entry?

In the IEC application, there was a question regarding any history of being deported or refused entry to any country, which I checked as 'no' as none of the options applied to me. However, because of my overstay I know I'm not allowed to enter the US for a number of years yet. During the application process for the IEC I got an FBI background check to show no criminal record in the US. Any additional thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.
