I applied in 2011. One year later, I took the test and passed, and of course was given the RQ during the interview.

Anyway, it seems the long wait is almost over, since I just called CIC, and I was informed that my case has been approved, awaiting for oath scheduling.

Now the question is whether my case will still be transferred to Scarborough even my home office is St Clair, because as per CIC agent, the case is still in St. Clair, and more likely will stay there.

Any idea? Appreciate your input.

congrats, you should get oath ceremony very soon.

Thanks, how long does it usually take?

I have an upcoming trip starting Sept 6, and I will be away for two weeks. I am wondering whether they will invite me during that period, but I doubt it.

From a month to a month and a half in most cases.

You can see here to get an idea.

You can inform CIC of this absence. This way they won't schedule you during this time. They advise you to write a letter to the local office.
