My wife was under the live-in caregiver program. She started her PR application in November 2011 and until now, her application is still In Process. Just recently, we got approved of our Permanent Residency application--I sent another application under the Provincial Nominee Program. By the way, I met my wife here. We got married after she got her open work permit.

Probably some but not all. It's the PNP you sent in after or? In sorry I'm confused by where the PR came from (category) and which one is in process and for how long. When you say in process do you mean your ecas says 'in process' or its an application in progress so to speak.
Anyway, I think it's all a moot point. You can only pull the file and see what they say. Contact the CIC office and by the way, congrats

If your wife has been granted visa then you wont get anything back but if not then they will only deduct 75.00 admin fee and rest they will refund you.
