May I ask you a question regarding divorce? Right now I am a phd student in Canada and my wife owns the work permit conditioning on my study permit? If we get divorced, my question is whether her work permit is still valid or not?

Open work permit issued to your spouse was based on you. If relationship is dissolved by any means, her/his work permit will be void.
