CIC doing immigration through job bank and then LMIA sounds like a really stupid plan, theres thousands of people who have canadian experience and they are struggling to get settled with wait times crossing 1 year +
EE is really stupid plan. They say it will speed up process but in fact it wont. It only adds several steps to already simple process.
I assume with EE an applicant may go through below assumption timeline.
Applying and Getting job: May be 3 months
Company applying LMIA: 3-5 months
Invitation: probably 1 month
Application process for PR: 6 months
Just to be clear this is my assumption.
EE does not say anything about the people who are already working in Canada with LMIA and also it does not say anything about the people working on PGWP. I hope people working on PGWP does not have to go through LMIA.
So express entry - I dont think it applies to application already in progress ? I mean all CEC applicants who are waiting for MR/PPR/CoPR at this point will be evaluated based on rules when application was received. So Express Entry will not impact them.
What do you guys think? Any quotes/reference to back this?

If I understand EE correctly, CEC program wouldn't be changed to much (if at all). Only the application selection process will be changed. Under current rule all submitted applications are accepted (if meet requirements). Under the new rule all applications will be entering "application waiting pool" and only highly rated will be accepted for processing (potential applicant will be invited to submit application and pay processing fee).
Our applications are already accepted for processing and they took our money. I highly doubt they will return our applications to the "waiting pool".
Once if you receive AOR, does it mean your payment is taken. I too received AOR only, still waiting for MR. I applied in December 2013, well when did you apply. Anyone from this group is still waiting for the MR plz ? ? ?

I am told the eligibility is closely linked to MR. so we are all not yet approved the eligibility. most of them who applied in this group got their PR....let us pray for each other guys
