4 months and 2 weeks after medical, got ecas status update today " medical results have been received".why they took so long to receive our medical? we had our medical last june 12,2010 and send to ottawa july 2.hope we will receive our PPr soon................thank you lord.
i think they have your medical long before oct.27, it's just that sometimes they don't prioritize updating our e-cas. in my case, i sent a case specific inquiry to them and got a reply on oct.18 that they have received the results of our medical exams but our e-cas until now shows "in process".
good luck to you, i think your PPR will come soon, congrats.
AINP nomination: Nov 27, 2009
CIC Application received: Feb 22, 2010
AOR/Medical request: June 22, 2010
Medicals Received: July 2, 2010
File Transfereed to NY: October 19,2010
In most cases whose files have been transferred to LA office received PPR within a month. I do not know if same is true for NY.
Hello 4family, I did my medicals on june 24. Medicals were mailed on June 29. My doctor mailed it through express mail. They gave me the tracking number. Medicals were received by Ottawa on July 2nd. Medicals are mailed to Ottawa, not to buffalo.

i asked buffalo whether I should pay the Right of Permanent Resident fee as i haven't paid during the application, because i was told by the PNP office that i don't have to pay until getting instructions , then i got the reply from Buffalo:
{
The Right of Permanent Resident fee can be paid at anytime during the application process. Upon a favourable decision, no visa will be issued until it is paid. }

now that's confusing... i sent them an email about this too, and their reply is that the RPRF will be requested. But I think it is better to pay already.
From what I read in Buffalo's website, they don't accept payments made online, you have to send them a certified check/bank draft/money order.
