Hi All,
While, sending documents to CHC New Delhi, do we have to send fees in Canadian Dollars or in Rupees.
Also Draft would be in the name of?????
Meena
If you are talking about RPRF, you can send the draft for CDN 490 payable for "Receiver General for Canada".
CHC Colombo accepts drafts in LKR, made payable for "Canadian High Commission". You should check in CHC Delhi website whether any such provision is available for CHC Delhi.
Website will also mention how much you need to pay in INR.
Thanks for your Reply.
I saw in Checklist and according to that itshoudl be in Canadain dollars. But I remember o Forum many people discussed that it could be in INR also.
So I was confused.

Most probably it is possible to make an INR draft.
Common sense tells me that this might make your processing a tad bit faster because your draft will be encashed locally. On the other hand if you make the draft in CDN, it may need to go all the way to Canada to get encashed. This may take a few days extra.
Just my opinion.

I Sent in INR and i got the receipt for RPRF.
Thanks to all.
So how u converted your CAN Dollars in INR. Have u done it by yourself or u asked Bank to do the same.
I have to send = 490 + 490= $980.

At least check your visa office web page for Fee
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng
Thanks SK,
But I think that also depends on the Rate of Dollar on the date when we are getting the Draft done. As we have to calculate Dollars in Rs.
Please suggest.
Anyways Thanks for all your guidance received earlier. My earlier Draft was accepted by CI with having 'The'.
Thanks once again.
