Can anyone please tell me which will be the nearest POE for us for making a Re-entry with PR.

We are working in Fort Mc Murray, Alberta with WP & Temporary Residence status since 23 April 2008. Today 2nd May 2008 our PR visa and Passport arrived from london. I would like to know is it required to make a re-entry for changing our residence status? Without making re-entry with US border is it posibile to convert our status to Permanent inside Canada? As we are new in Canada so I don't have driving license also. So from Calgary is there any bus services to Montana US border?

What about Toronto US border? Any idea and please help us.
