Calgary is in Alberta!

In Alberta, jobs related to oil and gas are more. But now job market is dull due to slump in oil price. Hope it will improve from next year.

For IT , I would suggest it should be Toronto. Greater Toronto Area is a big area and including its suburbs there would be many job openings.

The province of Alberta has produced the most no. of jobs in the recent years and most of them are in Calgary. But these are related to Oil and allied industries which deal with oil and oil transportation etc. Some IT jobs to support the oil companies are definitely being created. For example if you are in IT for example ERP software . Then there would be jobs related to ERP Oil like SAP OIL & GAS or SAP JVA. There will be also jobs related to data analysts which is required for reservoir data analysis.

Can anyone help understand the food industry demand in Canada. I have applied under 2263 - Food inspector. Can you recommend which part of Canada has better opportunities for food industry?

Also my husband works in IT so we are looking for a city which will offer job to both of us.

I would suggest Toronto. The place where people are more , options for food will be more. Greater Toronto area with its adjoining areas is the most populous. Hence I believe there would be more options for food more than any where else.

For IT also Toronto is the best option for new comers. So I would suggest Toronto.
