My fiance is from Africa and is currently operating a personal buisness in China. We would like for him to come for a visit to Canada. What does one do to start the process? From what we understand, he has to go back to Africa in order to apply for a visa to come and visit canada. Is this correct and could you please advise on what first steps we need to take in order to making his visit possilbe.
Thank you
jcp
Hi jcp
I may be wrong but I thought your fiance could go to the Canadian Consulate in China and apply for a visa from there?
I've no idea which may be closest for your fiance but I found a list of Canadian consulates here
http://canadaonline.about.com/od/travel/a/embchina.htm so perhaps it's worth giving one a call to see if that's a possibility.
