Do you guys know if it is normal to see "Decision Made" before PPR request sent to PA?

ecas showing Decision Made suddenly but GCkey shows "We are processing your background check".

Not sure what is going on.

It is normal to see Decision made if medicals, RPRF were already requested.

Ok thanks ... I assume background check is still in process as it says on GCKey. CIC has changed the way they show status update on eCas.

When did you received Sponsorship Approval? I recently got Police Clearance Certificate Request and no medical yet....

For passport, I can say you still have sometime .. I would say check how long it take to renew passport and then decide .. you can update new passport information anytime

I was approved as a sponsor June 2017. Will just wait hopefully they'll get their Police Clearance request this year.

I am having hard time in getting PCC for my mom from Nigeria and Vietnam because mom lived just 1 year in both of these countries. We don't have any friends or relatives there. She was depended on my brother who was there with work permit. Can anybody guide me what can write in a letter and convince immigration about my problem.

Finally got PPR email. I saw "Decision Made" last Thursday on CIC Ecas but on GCKey, it was showing "Background Check in progress".

I am a January 2014 applicant to sponsor parent. It took almost 4 years.

I used parents info for GCKey and it was very effective.

I used parents information and make sure for number of person on application, include sponsorer and co-sponsorer as well.

Congratulations!!! We hope to see our case moved sooner as well .. Just got my PCC submitted last week via email .. no response so far. Should I send Original PCC via mail well? Or scanned copy is fine?

I think it is better to mail it to. Depends on cost involved, I would courier as well.

Send it by mail also.
I asked this question via webform and they replied saying that I needed to send the PCC via mail. Visa Office is Pretoria.

is medical done for your parents? if yes then they have to expedite and do it before the expiry. usually they try to give four months at least before medical expire.
